The Citadel of Namur stands in a prestigious setting, stretches out on 80 ha of greenery and offers superb views across the Meuse Valley. The Citadel of Namur, a major heritage site, was one of the largest fortresses in Europe.
Visit this exceptional site in Belgium thanks to the Citadel Pass that includes: a tourist train trip, Mediaeval walk (walk, exhibition "life at the castle", visit to the gardens), visit to the dungeons and a film on 2,000 years of history of this area.
With 7 kilometres of underground passages, the Citadel of Namur can take pride in having been the fortress with the largest European network of galleries.
A team of professional guides will be happy to show you around.

At the Terra Nova tourist information centre, a team of guides will welcome you and fill you up on all the information you need on activities and visits at the Citadel.

From 9 April to 30 September, daily (except on 2 and 3 July for the "Biennial of Mediaeval Walks at the Citadel") from 10:30am to 6pm regular departures - last visit at 5pm
Off-season, from October to April: Wednesdays from 1pm, weekends and school holidays except 31 October for the "Halloween at the Citadel"
Annual closure from 24 December 2011 to 6 January 2012
